2018 Prayer Breakfast
REV. DR. WILLIAM FULLILOVE
Associate Professor of Old Testament, Reformed Theological Seminary, NYC and Ministries Pastor at McLean Presbyterian Church
Risk and uncertainty are hallmarks of any business. Whole companies and even whole industries are devoted to risk management yet the very title makes the point: risk can be managed, not eliminated. Jesus even implies this (though not talking about business) in Matthew 24: 6-8. How is a Christian to live in the midst of an uncertain situation, fraught with risk?
Many of us have adopted various forms of risk management in our businesses, but have we thought about risk management in light of our faith? Have we set our businesses up to live successfully with risk but not our souls? Dr. William Fullilove of Reformed Theological Seminary, New York will help us think through a biblical perspective on dealing with risk and uncertainty. How would living this out in our businesses serve to show Christ to our coworkers, vendors, neighbors, and clients? How would it help us see him more clearly and love him more dearly?
