Tom Mullaney is a commercial insurance risk control expert, specializing in the transportation, propane and petroleum industries. He is the author of numerous locally and nationally published articles relating to safety, transportation and insurance as it relates to the propane and petroleum industry.
Tom is responsible for creating the vision and providing the leadership for Aegis’ risk control efforts. He has extensive experience in workers’ compensation specializing in teaching and training companies to think beyond regulatory requirements and to focus on making true organizational change through behavior-based methodologies. In addition, Tom has broad experience in underwriting, marketing, and mitigating insurance risk.
Tom has been a member of the NPGA since entering the insurance field in 1997. He has served as a member of The Propane Education and Research Councils Safety and Training Board, The National Technology Safety and Standards Board, and sits on National Propane Gas Association Services Section, Member Services, Audit, and Convention committees.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Management and Fire Science from the University of Central Missouri and is currently working on his MBA.
