Chris Wagner serves as an advisor to executive staff on issues of a technical nature that have a direct impact on policy with a particular focus on, but not limited to, codes and standards. He also acts as the lead safety representative for the industry in partnership with the Propane Education and Research Council. Chris serves on multiple technical codes and standards development committees, where he advocates for the association’s positions and policies Prior to joining NPGA, Chris served in multiple organizational leadership roles over his 36 year career including: Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs for AmeriGas Propane, L.P., Executive Vice President of Global Operations for HMHTTC Response Incorporated, HazMat Chief for the City of Wilmington, Delaware & Delaware County, PA, and served on Active Duty in the United States Coast Guard.
