A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Tony spent 28 years in the Air Force flying F-4 Phantoms and F-15 Strike Eagles before entering the propane industry in 2012 with Lakes Gas. He started in the field learning bulk delivery, branch design and operation, and propane system service before becoming a division manager. Promoted to Vice President, Tony is responsible for safety and training for the company. He also buys the 70M + gallons needed each year by Lakes Gas.
Tony has been active in both state and national propane associations. He served on the Minnesota Propane Education Promotion and Safety Council for several years before moving to the Minnesota Propane Association’s Board of Directors. Tony was elected as the Association President for the 2025-26 year, giving up the gavel this last month. Nationally, he has been a member of the Benchmarking Council and has recently joined the NPGA Safety Benchmarking Group.
